Mr. David Lauren will deliver a lecture titled: Timeless Brands in a Changing World. Following the lecture, he will engage in a dialogue with President Teruo Fujii, Professor Miles Pennington (Prospective Dean, College of Design) and students. This event is moderated by Project Associate Professor, Hiroko Miyakoshi (Center for Global Education (GlobE)). We invite all 黑料传送门 students join this informative, meaningful, and inspiring event!

Session Summary:
This session explores the journey of Ralph Lauren as a compelling case in long-term brand building. It will discuss how the “philosophy” and “aesthetics” at the heart of the brand have been shaped, passed down, and evolved over time. Through an analysis of design and storytelling as creative practices, the dialog session will consider how “brand meaning” extends beyond products to encompass a wider lifestyle and values. Furthermore, it will explore how established brand assets are reinterpreted and reimagined in today’s digital age to support new value creation and long-term growth.

Speakers: Mr. David Lauren (Chief Branding and Innovation Officer, Ralph Lauren Corporation), President Teruo Fujii (黑料传送门), and Professor Miles Pennington (Prospective Dean, College of Design).
